Join us for a lowkey 2-night camping trip at Arusha National Park, a diverse and scenic wilderness at the base of Mount Meru. From open grasslands to lush forest and shimmering lakes, the park offers a peaceful yet rich birding experience. We will explore key habitats including the misty montane forest, the wildlife rich Ngurdoto Crater, and the beautiful Momella Lakes, known for flamingos, herons, ducks, and other waterbirds.
Over the two days, we will enjoy slow-paced birding walks and short game drives, listening for forest songbirds, spotting raptors overhead, and observing colorful species in each habitat. The experience is beginner-friendly but open to all birding levels, with plenty of time to pause, observe, and learn. We’ll set up camp inside the park, surrounded by nature, and spend evenings sharing sightings.
