Every group is different some are ready for a focused, high energy day of discovery, others want to go deeper across weeks. We offer two workshop formats, designed to meet your students or community where they are.
A fun 1–2 day introduction to birds, nature, and curiosity for primary school children.
In an effort to spark a love for nature among young learners, Awareness Program consisting of engaging 1–2 day workshops designed specifically for primary school children. These introductory sessions serve as a joyful stepping stone, preparing children for more tailored, long-term engagement with birdwatching and nature in the future. The success of these workshops will lead to lasting partnerships with schools and community organizations.
During the workshops, we equip teachers and volunteer birdwatchers with basic skills to introduce birds to young children and provide beginner-friendly birding materials. The sessions are highly interactive and hands-on, blending short instructional moments, fun games, backyard bird exploration, painting activities, quizzes, and simple awareness discussions — all carefully designed to spark children’s natural curiosity about the living world in a playful and age-appropriate way.
A two-week modular curriculum for secondary students with foundational birding knowledge.
Our short-term programs are designed to deliver an in depth, advanced educational experience for secondary students who already have foundational knowledge in birding. Using a modular curriculum, the two week program offers focused, theme based workshops that explore key ornithological topics in detail.
Participants will engage in comprehensive sessions covering nest monitoring, songs and calls recording, and an overview of major bird families supplemented by field visits, practical activities, data collection exercises and interactive indoor discussions.
