Request to Join →This evening walk features rich birdsong from lakeside forest species, offering a truly immersive auditory experience found only around the tranquil waters of Lake Duluti. As we move quietly along shaded shoreline trails, the cooling air and soft dusk light create the perfect setting for observation.
This outing will be a leisurely stroll, spending time scanning the water for kingfishers and ducks and taking our time under the trees while listening closely for the melodic calls of songbirds such as Rüppell’s robin-chat echoing through the evening groves.
Details: Distance 5–8km · Elevation 1200m (up & down) · Paved trail, single-track packed dirt/gravel, some steep stairs · Pacing: Slow with frequent stops · Sun exposure: Full.
