Thematic nature-education workshops for schools, community centers, and organizations working with children.
Bring a Workshop to Your Group →Every group is different some are ready for a focused, high-energy day of discovery, others want to go deeper across weeks. We offer two workshop formats, designed to meet your students or community where they are.
A 1–2 day introduction to birds, nature, and curiosity.
In an effort to engage the country's many amateur birdwatchers, we are launching an awareness program built around 1–2 days sessions. These workshops serve as a stepping stone toward more tailored, long-term engagements in the future. The success of those initiatives will led to lasting partnerships with accommodating organizations.
During the workshops, we discuss the basic skills needed to introduce birds to children and provide beginner-friendly birding materials. The sessions are highly interactive and hands-on, blending instructional segments, games, backyard bird exploration, painting, quizzes, and issue-based awareness sessions all designed to spark children's innate curiosity about nature.
A two-week modular curriculum for secondary students with foundational birding knowledge.
Our short-term programs are designed to deliver an in depth, advanced educational experience for secondary students who already have foundational knowledge in birding. Using a modular curriculum, the two-week program offers focused, theme-based workshops that explore key ornithological topics in detail.
Participants will engage in comprehensive sessions covering nest monitoring, songs and calls recording, and an overview of major bird families, supplemented by field visits, practical activities, data collection exercises, and interactive indoor discussions.
Every workshop is built around your group your age range, your space, your schedule, and the themes most meaningful to your students or community. Here's how it usually unfolds.
